Katharina Glaab is an Associate Professor in International Relations and Global Change at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and is interested in the politics of environmental and socio-technical changes in the Anthropocene. She leads the Norwegian Research Council-funded project 'Nordic Space Infrastructures - Environment, Security, and Future Imaginaries of Outer Space in the High North' (NordSpace), which examines, together with partners in Denmark, Iceland, and Sweden, how expanding space infrastructures shape security and environmental politics in the Arctic. She is also the founder of the UArctic network 'Arctic-space sustainability', which brings together researchers working on the implications of space activities and infrastructure development for the Northern Circumpolar region. At FOGOS, she leads Working Group 4 on space futures and equity.
