Meetings of FOGOS Management Committee and WGs 1 and 2 in Vienna

September 23-24, 2025

On the 23rd and 24th of September FOGOS met at the European Space Policy Institute (ESPI) in Vienna for its annual Management Committee meeting, and for meetings of Working Groups 1 and 2. The Management Committee decided on several organizational updates, notably by bringing in additional co-leads for our Working Groups, to accommodate our expanding range of activities. In Working Group 1, Johannes Schmied and Katja Grunfeld co-led a workshop exploring governance options and geopolitical constraints under various space futures. In Working Group 2, Marieluna Frank and Rakhyun Kim facilitated debate on a theoretical paper on space governance and space futures.
